Insights from a Century of Business Leadership

Since 1984, the Dean's Office of Duke's Fuqua School of Business has hosted the Distinguished Speaker Series, bringing a variety of corporate leaders to Duke's campus. The speakers provide significant educational enrichmnet that is a natural complementto the school's curriculum.

The objective of the series is two-fold. The series brings high profile corporate leaders to one of the world's leading business schools to share their insights into current business issues and corporate strategies. Further, the program builds and strengthens the relationship between The Fuqua School of Business and the world's leading corporations.

Seeing the value in providing affordable tools that greatly empowered the reading disabled, Jim Fruchterman was inspired to start a business that utilized technology to serve social causes.
