Dancing in Duke Gardens, 2010

Choreographer Rodger Belman worked with students in an American Dance Festival repertory class to create a site-specific work in Sarah P. Duke Gardens. The class will perform the piece Sunday, July 18, 2010, at 10 a.m. Admission is free. The dance will begin at the Gardens' lower parking lot. Sarah P. Duke Gardens is a public garden on the campus of Duke University in Durham, N.C. Belman's piece also features 90-year-old dancer Susan Gittler.
