Team Training - Orientation is your initiation to "Team Fuqua."

During Orientation, Daytime MBA students get to know each other and the "Team Fuqua" culture. All students spend a day at the Triangle Training Center, where physical, team-based challenges push them out of their comfort zones. They have to trust their new teammates, and get through the training course together. Overcoming obstacles like "the wall" is a rite of passage for new Fuqua students, and creates the foundation for solid, effective teams.

Rona is currently VP Audience Insights and Ad Sales Partnerships at Turner Broadcasting. Previously, Rona has worked in roles in data analytics at IXI Digital and AOL and management consulting at McKinsey & Co. He earned a BA and MA in Political Science from Stony Brook University and a PhD in Behavioral Economics from Duke University.

Spence creates team leadership opportunities, for example in the producer role, as well as by training students to communicate in emotional and time sensitive environments. Spence is founder and executive director of Students of the World - http://studentsoftheworld.org - a non-profit that partners with passionate college students to create new media to highlight global issues and the organizations working to address them. Spence graduated with a BA in History from Duke University.
