Dr. Paul Farmer, a Duke University trustee and alumnus, speaks Dec. 3, 2011, at Duke's Reynolds Auditorium about his latest book, "Haiti After the Earthquake." Farmer is a member of the Duke Global Health Institute Board of Advisors and is the founding director of Partners in Health.

Duke Provost Peter Lange gives an introduction. Questions from the audience are moderated by Duke professors Laurent Dubois and Deborah Jenson.

The talk was co-sponsored by several Duke units: the Office of the Provost, Franklin Humanities Institute, Sanford School of Public Policy and the Duke Global Health Institute.
