Green Devil Smackdown: Sustainable Tea Party
The Green Devil Smackdown's sustainable hero is back. The Green Gaucho and his friends are staying classy (and sustainable) during an office tea party.
The Green Devil Smackdown is an eight-week competition to see who can bend collective behavior to their will and force emissions into submission at Duke University.
Partners in battle can include students, faculty and staff in teams of 10 to 100 members who will compete against other teams on campus by earning points for taking different sustainable actions or accepting challenges during the competition. At the end of the competition, the team that earns the highest average points per participant will be crowned champion and take home the custom-designed Green Devil championship belt as well as up to $2,000 in offsets purchased to mitigate the team's carbon footprint at Duke.
